- The Alpinestars evaporative MX Cooling Vest is designed to cool the wearer during outdoor sporting activities in hot weather conditions. This is achieved through the garment’s water management system, which uses an exclusive polymer embedded material that has been specifically designed to absorb and slowly release water within the multi-layered fabric, significantly enhancing the body’s ability to stay cool. Using the Alpinestars MX Cooling Vest is easy; simply submerge the garment in water for 5-10 minutes, and then remove excess water by gently squeezing the vest before use. The MX Cooling Vest will remain hydrated for several hours and can be re-hydrated as needed.

short cooling life

Comments On Jan 17, 2013:If you are uncomfortable with tight fitting clothing buy 1 to 2 size larger. Vest is like spandex. Vest works well but only last about 30 minutes. It can be revitalized by pouring water over it while wearing it.

Overpriced.

Comments On May 30, 2012:The 2XL is closer to a Large, buy one or two sizes up and I hope you have an 'athletic build'. Never got to actually use one, can't get it over my shoulders.
