Comments On Nov 14, 2012:I am 6 foot 3 and the large fits me fine, but it is a little short in the arms. When I bend my arms the elbow pads do not stay in the right place. Overall it is fin, i cut the kidney belt part form the jersey part so I could tuck it in. Worked great. I wore it in the RedBull sea to sky, and it worked great. Cool, and protection!

Comments On Jun 29, 2012:I thought this was well made and the fit was ok.... however it did not fit with the leatt neck brace so sold it to a friend.

Comments On Jun 14, 2012:Great for the price. Nice cool mesh. I've wrecked several times with this jacket and it has protected me very well.
The only downside is that there is a bit of "uneveness" between the back plate and the kidney belt plate, it can be just a little bit uncomfortable. I might actually sew a pad on the inside of the jersey to remedy it.
But that is a small issue for an otherwise excellent jacket.

Comments On Apr 27, 2012:Build quality is good, seems like it will breath well which is important in Floria! only complaints is the chest protector should be strapped to the back under your arms AND the arms could stand to be longer. I'm 6'5" so no wonder!

Comments On Sep 28, 2011:Really pleased with this item, it breathes pretty well and when there is a breeze it blows through the vents on the chest armor nicely. From all the other reviews of the armored jersey's vs roost deflectors I was expecting this thing to be like wearing a sauna. Its not. I ride in CO and usually at elevation but even on 85+ degree days I've never overheated. If you live in Florida, probably not for you. Armor is great. I have crash tested it a few times and always walked away without a scratch or bruise. The kidney belt I initially considered just cutting off the Jersey but I landed right on a pointy stump and it saved my bacon so its going to stay. Definitely want to wear a baselayer (I use a thin Nike Dryfit vest) or put some bandaids over your chest's sensitive areas because it will rub them to the point of bleeding after a few hours of riding. Overall very pleased.

Comments On May 25, 2011:I've crashed about 20 times in this thing and it works pretty good, better than any of the protection I have tried. I wear mine only without a jersey.
The only problems I have with this protection jersey is that it doesn't fit perfect with the Leatt neck brace (it works okay, you can't zip it up all the way) and also the lack of protection on the back. I took a hard fall on my back and it didn't really work but MX is dangerous right?
