Find your village cobbler

Comments On Mar 24, 2009:Tried several times to glue these on myself. Save yourself the money and frustration on the trail you would pay for multiple glue attempts and take them to your local shoe repair shop. I'd recommend taking the old sole off before taking them in, saved me $30. Total cost to fix (after removing old sole myself) was $25.00. This was for a single boot repair. I wish Alpinestar would make a tougher sole composite at peg contact area for the Tech10.

Alpinestars tech 10 replacements soles

Comments On Oct 24, 2007: Although I love these boots, the soles could be alittle thicker or made of a material that lasts alittle longer. Replacement of the soles is not that difficult but I found it difficult to heat and apply even pressure to the sole making the adhesion uneven and possibly reducing the longevity of the product.
