Cheap Price and Cheap quality

Comments On Oct 11, 2012:I took this out of the box and immediately noticed it was very very light. Thats fine as long as it is protective. Well, I was able to make the entire shell flex by pushing it together with my hands using minimal effort. The majority of the padding in this helmet is in the back of the head, so it puts the mouthpiece close to your mouth which is weird in my opinion. Also, It sits really high on your head, making the mouth guard obstruct your vision. The chin strap felt like it was too far back and on my throat. The washable liner looked like it could take about 3 washes before it starts to fall apart. It may accommodate scott goggles fine, but my oakleys did not fit well in the opening. If you are an occasional weekend warrior, it may be fine, but I ride 2-3 times per week and there is no way this helmet would hold up even if I could deal with all the above issues. I sent this back.
