- The Leatt Brace Club II Neck Brace was designed by medical professionals to help protect any serious neck injuries on any motocross riders. The Leatt Brace Club II Neck Brace is the upgraded version from the first Leatt Brace Club Neck Brace that has improvements that will have you feeling well protected as soon as you put it on. One of Leatt Brace Club II Neck Brace upgrades was a five easy to use adjusting points that allow for customizing a precise fit to insure that the brace does what it needs to do to best protect you. The Leatt Brace Club II Neck Brace is an easy fit, lightweight and comfortable still giving you rang of motion even with your helmet on. The Leatt Brace Club II Neck Brace is designed with ventilation to help keep you feeling comfortable with out a sweaty neck line.
- The Leatt-Brace Club Neck Brace is an injection produced glass reinforced nylon or carbon fiber and Kevlar neck brace system designed by medical professionals and motorcycle enthusiasts to help prevent: Hyper flexion: extreme forward head movement, Hyperextension: extreme rearward head movement, Lateral Hyper flexion: extreme sideways head movement, Axial loading: compression of the spinal column due to the effect of force on the helmet, Posterior hyper translation: rearward movement of the head/helmet on the neck.
- The design rationale behind the Leatt-Brace is to bring the head to a controlled stop. This is achieved by providing a padded rigid structure that acts as an alternate load path for neck forces. Helmet impacts otherwise transmitted from the helmet to skull and then to the neck are re-directed from the helmet to the brace to other body structures in a safe way.
- The Club neck brace features glass reinforced nylon upper and lower construction and weighs 850 grams.
- Sizing Recommendations
- Small brace is recommended for ages 4-16, under 5' 10" and 140 lbs.
- Medium brace is recommended for ages 16 +, over 5' 10" and 140 lbs.

Can't even tell it's there!

Comments On Oct 25, 2011:I honestly can't tell it's on. I can move my head around just fine, but you can tell if you were to get in a good digger, it would keep your neck from hyper extending or compressing, etc.
I was the last of my group to get one of these, and I definitely feel better wearing it.
Plus, my blue and white model match my YZ250 perfectly!

EVERY ONE MUST HAVE

Comments On May 13, 2011:I am a 15 year old 180lbs kid and i had this leatt for three weeks and over shot a huge jump and broke both legs one arm and three ribs and am out for the season. my leatt and helmet were both broken and I strongly belive that with out the leatt i would be paralized or dead. my buddy went and got one a few days later because he watched it saved my life. we wernt sure about paying $400 for a neck brace but now we would pay that nine times over and i will never ride without one again

Comments On Feb 17, 2011:Being an experienced trauma ICU nurse, I've seen the consequences of neck injuries, I can't recommend a second more important safety device available, than the Leatt neck brace. You forget that it's even there. I won't ride without one.

Comments On Feb 06, 2011:I am 14 years old 5'11 and 130 pounds and I got the small blue neckbrace, it fits me perfect with the thor sentinel chest protector. I have one ride with it and its very comfortable, I cant even tell i have one on.
