Sand and dirt act as sandpaper against the seals and shock shaft so by adding the Outerwear Shockwears you will be reducing the amount of dirt and debris that wear down the shafts and seals. Also by adding the Outerwear Shockwears you will prolong the life of the shock and maintain life performance. The Outerwears Shockwears come in many different colors and designs so pick the design that is perfect for your machine.

couldnt resist the heat

Comments On Jan 23, 2013:the rear shock was unfortunantly melted by my exhaust pipe. the KFX450R runs hot, which is really why i am not upset about the cover, but i did pay for it and it melted. it still covers the shock, but just some of it is melted. if the bike doesnt run too hot, buy the cover, but maybe not for kawasaki.

great cover

Comments On Aug 05, 2012:installed on polaris rzr to cover up the afco mt-1 shocks. they work great. keeps dust and debri out. just make sure when you install them to leave the holes uncovered.

Shock Covers on LTR450

Comments On Dec 22, 2009:I've used these on all my quads and they do their job quite well....keeps dirt and debris from ruining the shock seals....I just wish they had more colors........;(
