Comments On Feb 17, 2011:Well made pre filter. Just be sure to follow the directions and CLEAN your filter good with acetone or something similer before attaching the velcro to secure the pre filter. You just can't go wrong with this item. 5 stars.

Best money you can spend if you have a K&N!

Comments On Aug 24, 2008:Love this thing! it keeps the filter so clean that after 2 weekend long trips to the sand dunes i still can't talk my self into cleaning it. i inspect it after every ride and usually clean it but after i installed this prefilter it still looks way clean and all the oil is still on the filter and in good shape. I plan on cleaning the filter anyway because it's always better to play safe but after 4 days of riding in the sand it's still clean. I'm sure this prefilter will pay for its self with all the cleaner, oil and time i will save. now i want to buy one of these for all my bikes! and I Plan on it! I believe this is the filter for the longer K&N
