- Bel-Ray® Works Thumper® Racing Full Synthetic Ester 4T Engine Oil is a 4-stroke synthetic racing oil that has been developed for full works competition use and is designed to withstand extreme racing conditions. Full synthetic ester base oils withstand the highest temperatures and stresses which provide the ultimate 4-stroke motorcycle oil. Suitable for air-cooled/liquid-cooled 4-stroke engines and wet clutches. Meets API SM and JASO MA2 requirements.
- For use in all 4-stroke engines with or without wet clutches.
- Use in Thumper engines (single cylinder, multi-valve racing engines).

CR500 smooth

Comments On Feb 26, 2013:This oil makes shifts smoother and more positive than with the Belray Gear saver. I run 10-40 in cooler weather and 10-50 in summer. Also works great in the CR250 just use the 10-40 year round.

Comments On Jun 29, 2012:Local shop was shut down and i needed to change oil, put bel ray in and rode. My bike made a lot more noise than usual, and it shifted horrible.

Comments On May 30, 2012:Been running this oil in several 4 stroke machines with no problems. Doesn't seem to break down when I neglect an oil change like conventional oil did.

Worth the price

Comments On Mar 30, 2012:Great stuff, I run this in my 2005 KTM 400 exc; the owner's manual calls for the tough to find, 10W 50 full synthetic oil, but this is just right for my machine.
The bottle is a little cumbersome to pour compared to other bottles, requires a funnel for most applications, but this isn't a big deal.
