Comments On Jun 16, 2011:mounted it and tried to adjust and mirror snapped right off of the stem. Little screw made from soft metal. Can't remove mirror to fix either cause it's glued in there! Typical junk...like everything else I guess if it doesn't cost $500 its to be considered a throw away! It did look really nice though. $26 straight from wallet to garage garbage can!!!

Comments On Sep 09, 2010:Too much vibration on the handle bars. Worked better on my front storage box. Cut the bottom install bolt off. Ran a longer bolt in a existing hole in the front storage box. On my 850 Sportsman put one on each side. Looks like it came with the storage box!

Comments On Oct 06, 2009:The mounting screw that comes with the mirror is too short, so on the 2006 Ranchers there is only about an 1/8 of an inch that actually grabs. Not enough to keep tight. And the spreading mechanism is the same OD as the grips ID. They just dont stay tight. But they do work great if you can keep them attatched.
