Comments On Feb 21, 2012:I will never own another bike without one of these. Makes winter riding much more pleasurable when you can feel your fingers. Installed on my 2006 WR450F. The high setting would drain the battery a little faster than the stock stator could charge it, but some simple mods fixed that.

Comments On Dec 30, 2009:Replace the 10watt ceramic resistor with a 5 watt resistor from Radio Shack. Leave your grip heaters on high or use a simple on/off spst switch. Much more comfortable as one setting. Low is too cold and hot is a burner. Clutch bar can be shrink tube covered or one layer of std. electrical tape works for insulation.

Great for what they are

Comments On Apr 03, 2009:If installed properly meaning routing all wires in areas that do not come in contact with other wires and making sure to give your wires plenty of room for movement. This probably led to others having the wires break off. I noticed a little uneven heating due to the plastic throttle tube but once hot your hands are thankful.

Ok but not sure I would buy again

Comments On Nov 03, 2008:I had the same issues that everybody else has mentioned. The white ceramic piece gets insanely hot if you run it on low. Seems to work ok other than the heat doesn't work evenly.

great heat, but be careful on the install

Comments On Oct 23, 2007:The product works GREAT, but there is a power capaciter (2 inch white) on the line to the power supply.
It gets FREEKIN hot, enough to blister. Make sure it is not touching anything that can melt.
Additional Comments On Jan 25, 2008:The White capaciter either heated the wires toa melting point and fell off, or the wires were just too small guage and broke off. either way the white thing broke away from the wires and fell off. BUT the heater part worked great while it lasted.
