Nice looking but install is a pain

Comments On Feb 08, 2013:Leo Vince makes good stuff no doubt about it. The SBK stainless steel kit is the one for a '11 KTM 990 ADV. This kit includes the mufflers and new mid pipes. Meaning you have to remove the stock mid pipe. It was necessary to remove the plastic side plates (easy) and the unbolt the sub frame and slide it back an inch or two, not so easy. Be sure to remove the graphite gaskets off the header pipes so new mid pipe the fits the header.
The mufflers are well made but not much lighter than the stock. At least the cat elements are out and the mufflers will run much cooler. Everything fit well. Get every thing mounted before thightening thing down. The Leo Vince looks and sounds great but I kind of wish I had purchased the FMF Q mufflers. FMF mounts to the stock mid pipes so much easier install. Additionally, the FMF mufflers are aluminum and much lighter.
