Comments On Jul 05, 2010:Provides improved stopping power and looks great. Depending on what bike you ride you probably need to get a new brake line holder for the smaller diameter brake line. This one comes with one but it didn't fit my yz/f very well and looked horrible.

Comments On May 01, 2009:Put it on my almost-new 2007 Yamaha WR250F.
POSITIVE:
It takes less than half the effort to brake now, as energy is no longer lost while inflating the cable line. I get away with using one finger and no longer get tired fingers. I cannot express enough the importance of being able to stop quickly: it keeps me out of trouble and lets me go faster too. This would be the best investment for my bike of all time, but, read on.
NEGATIVE:
The cable may have been set up for a YZ, not a WR, such that it was about 2 inches shorter than stock. The WR has a headlight and two routing rings for the brake line. I had to cut headlight plastic, remove the upper routing ring, and add a routing tube to make it all work. Not only does it look ugly with duct tape, its risky and could break some day. I do not know what customers can do to prevent this in the future (when ordering), maybe call the order in and literally ask them the length of the brake line, and compare it to stock to make sure this does not happen again?

Comments On Oct 17, 2007:I put a Galfer line on my 98 YZ 125 with the CR-style routing and couldn't be happier. The stock line was mushy like most rubber lines and didn't instill a lot of confidence in the front brake. Installation is a breeze and the quality of the line is top notch. It took me a while to get it bled but once I did I was very happy with the performance. I haven't had any problems with it since installation over a year ago!
