2008 Yamaha YFZ450

Comments On Feb 10, 2011:I bought a set of these Hot Cams for my YFZ450 and didn't notice much a power difference. So I decided to send my motor to Status Motorsports in Whittier California and the guys over there did their magic to my cylinder head. They Ported it and did some trick work with the valve-train and they used CNC machines. WoW! Now my bikes runs great and fast! It produced 56 horsepower on the dyno. Now I like these cams.

Comments On Nov 23, 2010:I installed the intake cam on my 2006 LTR and am very impressed with the performance gains. Wow, it's almost like a different motor. It has more torque down low, more midrange, and revs higher. I also have a Yoshimura pipe, Yoshimura PIM, and a K&N filter. I wish I would have gotten this upgrade earlier.

Comments On Oct 31, 2007:If you are installing Hot Cams they had better be a part of a whole build plan. I installed them without any other mods and didn't like them at all. Its after I completed the entire build with higher compression, pipe, opened up the airbox, DYNA CDI, KibbleWhite Valves, and a larger carb that they really performed well. Very much recommended as one part of a build plan.
