  • Unlike previous stands where you had to lift the back of the bike onto the stand, the Ogio 180 does the lifting for you. Simply push the bike forward and the Ogio 180 does the rest. As the front tire rolls through the framework, the stand rotates 180 degrees and engages and lifts the bike onto the stand. To take the bike off, simply pull the bike back and the Ogio 180 will reverse the motion.

Nice concept but....

Comments On Mar 03, 2011:A stand that only works with SOME bikes? What a great idea! This stand simply wedges itself between my bike's exhaust and frame no matter how careful I am to line it up. I can see how it should work but the logistics just don't play out on my bike. If I try rolling it over the stand a little more quickly in an effort to avoid the dreaded wedge the stand simply catches the tread of my front tire and goes for a ride until it smacks into something it shouldn't. Nice concept but it only works with some bikes where as nearly every other stand in on the market works with....well, every bike.

Motocross bikes on certain surfaces only

Comments On Apr 08, 2010:First off, I have an KTM EXC450 with a carbon fiber skid plate - not exactly the intended bike for this product. Looked pretty sweet in the adds (which were performed on carpet) and I was willing to try it. Seems like a fairly well designed piece, light weight and isn't as awkward to store as other lift stands. I did knock off a rivet on my first attempt.
It does take a bit of practice to get used to the operation. Slick garage floors are not the best surfaces. My bike's weight just pushed the stand everywhere. Under certain conditions I can get it to work as advertised, but I manually place the stand against my skid plate, us my foot to hold it in place and then roll the bike on it. Motocross bikes (CRF450R/250R, KX250, 450SX) worked much better - assuming the weight is the major factor. In all I will hang on to it for a while, but would trade it for the next whiz-bang-wow product. If you think this stand is for you, TRY IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT1

So so...

Comments On Sep 16, 2009:It works ok if you have a perfectly level and dry surface like a shop or garage. It doesn't work well on uneven surfaces like the pit area at a track. Alot of times it will just slide in the dirt. Do not try it after washing your bike or if the stand is wet, bike will slip right off. Also its not tall enough to get both tires off the ground. Its a great idea but just doesn't work that well.
