Replace that thumb throttle today!

Comments On Oct 24, 2012:Not sure why thumb throttles were invented to begin with other than to sell a twist throttle kit. When a rider 'freaks', the thumb sticks and even the 'roll on' throttle wll pin the throttle WFO either way. So thumb throttles provide no greater safety. This kit is easy and clear in instructions. Follow it to the letter and you will have an easy install. Make sure to buy the idle screw kit if required - saves time and frustration. Hardest part is tapping the carb for the idle screw. Two screws needed for the Yamaha Banshee. As the insturctions say, " If not experienced in this, have a shop do it for you." Wiser words were never written. If you or an accomplished bike mechanic buddy have tapping experience - go for it! Wish I had bought it sooner.

CHEAP

Comments On Aug 06, 2011:The material that is sold is CHEAP!! The bit they give you to threat broke off in my carb. I had to replace the whole carb. If you buy this kit I would suggest buying a high quality threading bit.

A MUST for Banshee

Comments On Jun 05, 2011:This and the TORS eliminator throttle cable kit from Motion Pro are a MUST for all Banshees. Onstall is easy, comes with drill bit and Tap to upfit carbs. AWESOME!!

Motion Pro Idle Kit

Comments On Nov 01, 2007:Great kit if you are putting a twist throttle on your Banshee and eliminating the TORS system. Minimal machining and comes with everything you will need to do the job. (Except a small File or Rolok wheel and die grinder.) Take your time and do it right or have a shop do it. Don't mess up your carbs..
