Works good to protect the rotor

Comments On Mar 14, 2013:I ride in harescramble races where you get right up close to slower riders all the time trying to find passes in single track trails and this has helped at least once to protect my front rotor when i took out that slow guy the last race by clipping his rear tire when we got on the bank of the pond and thus throwing him in the water, lol. I would reccoment this for any aggressive riders with anger issues such as myself.

Polisport Front Disc Protector

Comments On Jan 29, 2013:My CR 250 came with out one. Ive always had a disc protector on my bikes. Some say that they are only for cosmetics. Some say that the protection is minimal at best. Some say that it can actually cause damage to your brake disc when packed with mud. I say yes it helps cosmetically. I say that some protection is better than none. And if your gonna ride in that deep of mud and dont remove it. Thats your own fault. After all its only two or three bolts depending on the application.

great product

Comments On Mar 12, 2012:I have had this product on the bike for almost a year. It has held up great for motocross. The white stains from the mud, but that is to be expected. Great product, great mount and fit. I would buy another one.

GREAT GREAT PRODUCT!

Comments On Aug 05, 2009:I live down in the south and do alot of riding in places that have alot of mud. I wanted something that would protect my disk brake and would not allow mud to get up in my front brakes. This is a very fine product.
