Much better than the OEM tab washer.

Comments On May 15, 2013:This nut makes changing my front sprocket very easy. The OEM tab washer was a pain to flatten and then fold back up and eventually it will wear out and need replacement. This design is much better. Some KLR owners like to swap their front sprockets to a higher or lower tooth one, this will wear out the tab washer quickly. I highly recommend this even if you are not planning on changing your front sprocket to a different size.

Comments On Dec 08, 2012:Aside from having to buy a larger socket to fit it. This has worked perfectly. I have not had to remove it to change the sprocket again, so we'll see how it holds up. But I would buy it again.
