    The new Yoshimura RS-4 motorcycle exhaust was developed using experience gained during R&D for Race Team exhausts, and it works brilliantly. The MX exhaust offers great horsepower gains, weight savings, and or course that great Yoshimura look.
  • RS-4 Pentagonal shaped muffler that features a carbon end cap, two staged stepped baffle, and striking good looks.
  • The muffler features a new front cap design that functions as a polyresonant chamber. The design makes for a quieter muffler with improved mid and top end power.
  • Silencer comes with a 94db sound insert.

Slip on muffler

Comments On Nov 23, 2012:Ran it with the spark arrestor removed and the bike ran fine, very noticble power increase down low. I went ahead and got my ecu re mapped and even better

What was expected!!!!

Comments On Sep 28, 2012:If you are looking more power with minimum spending and doing internal work, this is for you. Put this on my 2012 crf450r. Slip-on gives an immediate increase in power. No need to remap, works out of the box. Couple this with a Power-Flow filter from Twin Air and hold on. Increases pull into mid/upper 9,000 rpm range. When the new power wears off, a re-map and pulling the spark-arrestor will do the trick. Now need to stock up on some fresh tires to put the SCARY back in it.

yosh slip on muffler

Comments On Oct 16, 2011:Yosh makes some good stuff! I'm really impressed. This muffler is really well made. The hanger bracket is SOLID and welded to the canister, not just cheaply riveted on like FMF does. Also, the connection to the head pipe is secured with a high quality clamp, not just glued on like FMF. The only surprise was the Yosh instructions suggest remapping the bike. The RM description didn't tell me this. This Yosh muffler is 9oz heavier than stock, but then it also has the spark arrestor insert.

Good looking, not so expensive S/A slip on

Comments On Aug 16, 2011:Seems to be durable, but is heavier than the stock 09 CRF450R slip-on. Not much quieter than stock either, but seems to flow just as much air w/spark arrestor as the stock MX silencer. Arguably the best-looking slip-on for the bike.
