Comments On Dec 22, 2011:Great if you're not on a budget. Rear knobs cracked (all of them) but never actually lost any knobs. This is fairly common. But the front actually lost side knobbies. I've since switched to MX-extra, which have similar performance (maybe not quite as good) with longer life and cheaper price.

Comments On Oct 19, 2011:like how it grips, but riding on intermediate to hard terrain my cheng shin c755 rear lasted longer, and its on a cr500

Comments On Sep 13, 2011:I ride mx only, this rear is on my 2010 yz250f, it replaced the stock B-stone 404
On hard or medium hard dirt this tire hooks up better than anything I have ever ran before. The county fair races with packed dirt gave me trouble when i ran a Dunlop 756 and the B-stone 404, not with this Pirelli it would hook up and even pull the front wheel up out of corners...I would say in its intended dirt range this tire is about the best you can do (like hangtown or maybe washougal soil type)
Now when the dirt is more loamy and loose this tire is just ok, it doesnt dig in and hook up, instead it sorta floats on top and spins a little too much for a racer, the 756 is much better on a nice groomed loamy track (like red buds or unadilla's dirt)
I will be buying the mid-soft pirelli to compliment this mid-hard and that should cover any track in my area
Additional Comments On Sep 16, 2011:I would also say the wear has been outstanding, much better than i expected

Comments On Aug 22, 2011:rear: 4 2+ hour hare scrambles. 10psi, bridgestone uhd tube. works well in all conditions. i was particularly impressed with its performance on hills composed of large, wet, greasy rocks. minimal chunking on the center knobs, with a slightly rounded drive and breaking edge. i cant really see a reason to flip it around because it still hooks up just fine.
front: 2 2+ hour hare scrambles. 12psi uhd tube. shows no wear. works well in a variety of conditions, as advertised. this is not my favorite sand or mud tire.
