FRONT TIRE still has good tread 12,000 miles

Comments On Aug 23, 2012:I don't have anything bad to say about these tires. I replaced both front and rear the same time. The front is still on the bike with over 12,000 miles and tread still looks good.
I can't say much about riding in rain I try to stay out of the rain. But I can say the tires don't follow the cracks in the road like other tires I have used.
I highly recommend these.

Great Tire

Comments On Mar 20, 2012:I am very pleased with the ME-880. A major concern has been wear, but that is true with any motorcycle tire. Having had success with the Dyna-Beads on my 96 Royalstar, I know that the tire life on the ME-880 will also exceed my expectations. If you don't spend the extra few dollars on the Dyna-Beads, don't complain about tire life. No rebalancing is required with the beads. If you don't get the beads.....you need to rebalance your tires every 1,000 miles to get the maximum wear possible. Expect 15K miles with no cupping issues out of your tires.

Very Poor Handling

Comments On Feb 08, 2012:I purchased the Metzeler tires under the impression that they last longer than the OEM Dunlops. This is absolutely NOT true!! They wear just as fast, if not faster, but have very poor traction and handling. Will not buy again.

Elegance at its best

Comments On Dec 08, 2011:Really happy with the performance of the ME880 tire. A softer compound than the OEM tire. Nothing like being able to perform in the twisties and show off the white walls in a local show n shine. The best of both worlds. Love these tires!!!

Best tires ever
