Good Tire handles great!!!

Comments On Aug 23, 2012:I don't have anything bad to say about these tires. I replaced both front and rear the same time. I knew the rear was going to wear down faster than the front just logical. I got around 8,500 miles off the rear before replacing. The front is still on the bike with over 12,000 miles and tread still looks good.
I hate to say that I didn't go back with the ME880 WWW on rear this time because the price went up.

Wears quickly with very poor handling

Comments On Feb 08, 2012:I purchased the Metzeler tires under the impression that they last longer than the OEM Dunlops. This is absolutely NOT true!! They wear just as fast, if not faster, but have very poor traction and handling. Will not buy again.

Harley should use these as stock equipment

Comments On Jun 21, 2011:Metzeler tires are the best thing that you can do for a smooth ride. They beg you to make sharp turns. They hug the curves better than any tire I have ever used. This is my third set and I will never buy any other tire.

Great alternmative to Dunlop k555 OEM tire

Comments On Aug 15, 2010: Bought this tire to replace Dunlop K555 rear tire on Honda Aero 1100. The bike has 21k miles on it and i was replacing K555 every 6k miles. I am hoping that i can get at least 10k miles out of this tire. The K555 always starts to ride rough and wear funny at 3k miles. The Metzeler has been on 1k miles and this is the reason for only 4 stars, however the bike is smoother and better handling than ever, now lets see how long it last. So far i am very pleased with the tire. Will update when i get a few more thousand miles on it.
