Excellent

Comments On Mar 21, 2012:These are great gloves and have a great feel with the soft Renthal waffle grips I like - I have about 5 or 6 identical pairs.

Good value and functional

Comments On Aug 04, 2011:This a good product and performs well in keeping your hands warm and dry. Do not be fooled by the product description "The Firstgear Explorer Motorcycle Gloves is a well made all leather motorcycle glove..." These are not all made of leather (one should not expect all leather at this price). It is made of a synthetic material with leather inserts on the palm of the glove. I found them to be a bit slippery, would have preferred something with better traction. Am hopeful that it will improve with wear. I like the ties at the end and the Velcro strap across the back of the hand; easy to slip on and feels secure once fastened. The integrated rain wiper blade on the index finger to wipe your visor with, is something I was unable to use with much success. Maybe it requires a special technique.

Made well- fits good

Comments On Jun 17, 2011:Good glove for the price. Great for winter rides and cost is okay where I don't mind taking them off road and getting them scratched and messed up.

good glove tested at 40° sized small though

Comments On May 11, 2011:I needed a good glove for cooler weather riding. I typically wont ride below 35° so I needed a glove that was warm to that temperature.
I bought these from RMATV and based on other firstgear glove reviews I ordered an extra large even though I always wear a large glove. The fit is good, maybe a little snug when new but after a couple uses I expect they will fit perfect.
The gloves appear to be well made and kept my hands comfortable on the first use when the temp was 40° F.
I like the longer cuff that covers my jacket sleeve and keeps out the wind
overall the price was good and the gloves are good too, just order one size larger than you typically wear !!!!
