    The Bridgestone Battlax BT016 Hypersport motorcycle tires multi-compound technology derived from Moto GP, delivers the grip performance demanded in every aspect – braking, maximum side grip in cornering, and strong traction at the exit of a corner. Comprehensive Tire Design Method is an advanced tire design technology that enables dynamic, three-dimensional simulations of tire performance at all lean angles. High Tensile Super Penetrated Cord – Mono Spiral Belt technology in the front and rear tires provide a rich contact feel, strong grip and high-speed stability.
  • The rear motorcycle tires L shaped grooves enhance shock absorption and rear-end steering. Groove location across tread center area provides both wet performance and strong traction. High speed durability is also maximized.
  • Rear motorcycle tire features a new triple compound (5LC). The center compound offers good stability, the shoulder compound transfers power to the road with strong traction while the edge compound offers strong side grip and solid contact feeling at extreme lean angles.

Nice tire for a great price

Comments On Sep 17, 2012:Bought these for my Ktm 690 Smc supermoto on a whim to replace the Pirellis that were on it. I'd say they are pretty comprible in performance. And are around half the price. Lasted me about 3000 miles with 80% of those miles on twisty canyon roads. They stick to the ground well, all the way to the sidewall.

Got 6,000 miles from my KTM superduke

Comments On Feb 01, 2012:I do 80% commuting on this tire and it has good wear for commuting on highways. Got about 6,000 miles out of it until the threads were showing. No traction problems and always felt planted.

Great road tire

Comments On May 21, 2011:Fitted these tires to my GSXR1000 recently and have found them to be an excellent tire so far. I ride up and around our local mountain at speed, and with the conditions being cool my old tires struggled. These grip well even with damp patches still on the roadway in the shadows. The tires get to operating temperatures quickly giving a smooth ride with excellent tip in qualities whilst cornering. Recommend.

bt-016 early review

Comments On Nov 04, 2010:bought a set to replace dunlop d207. took about 45 miles to break in, afterwards, they started to really show their stuff. feel like cheating with these tires going through my usual corners, as they made me feel and look better than i really am on my bike. only negative is that they transmit a bit too much buzz through the bars, will lower front tire pressure to see if that cures it. totally confident in these rubber.
