Great tire

Comments On Mar 15, 2012:I have to say that I am less than impressed with the durability of the Washougal rear tire. I live in the PNW and chose this tire because of the reviews it received. It hooked up really nice, because it was new. But after a 30 mile tight single track ride. It already started to chunk.There were some rocks, but mostly mud and roots. I used to live in SoCal where tires get really beat up and last much longer than this did.I will not buy another one.

Comments On Jun 02, 2011:definatly the best tire ive used on our bikes. good price, maximum traction and minimum wear. great side knobs for sloppy conditions and tire performs well with air pressured lowered. very pleased.

Comments On Oct 02, 2009:iv put 15 hours on this tire it works great on hard dirt and rocks and mid dirt but i have seen that its a little shy when it comes to sand it works alright but it just spins alot more then other tires i have had

Comments On Aug 19, 2009:just like my title says, they will really hook up on a nicely groomed loamy track, but hit a few hardpack corners and you'll wish you got a different tire...plus hard terrian really puts a beating on them in a hurry...overall i would say a good tire for the $$ as long as your on the intended terrian..(im switching to a B-stone 404 that is only $5 more on this site)

Comments On Jul 31, 2009: The 90/100x21" has a slightly bigger foot print for more contact and traction with the dirt. The tread pattern and compound of the rubber sticks good for a wide variety of terrain. From hard pack to sand and mud. Wears good and a very good price.

Comments On Apr 04, 2009:Don't be afraid of the Kenda Washougal, if you ride intermediate to hard pack with rocks & roots. It works great in those conditions & lasts longer than most, especially if you like to turn them around & use the backside edge.
