Best OEM tire I have used

Comments On Nov 02, 2012:Suzuki v-strom is one of the few bikes out there that come with such a great OEM tire. The tire seems to be getting good mileage and it handles great on everything I have thrown at it considering it is an 80/20 tire. It handles surprisingly well off pavement for a more street oriented tire and the price is great compared to other tires. Performs just as well as the very popular and more expensive metzler tourance for me. I could not ask for more out it.

Comments On Aug 12, 2012:Well, installing this tire resulted in a couple of firsts. First time I've removed the rear wheel on my 2011 DL650A and first M/C tire change ever. I'd gotten just under 14000 miles on the original Trail Wings and since I had such good luck I went with the exact tire for the replacement. I'd considered a couple of other brands/models but bang for the buck kept coming back to these. Best price I found and after my initial hesitation at attempting the change I dug in. Easier than I thought overall. Just returned from a short ride to check my work and scrub in the tire and I'm pleased with the feel.

Great street and mild trail tire.

Comments On Mar 26, 2012:These tires are standard issue for DL650 V-Strom motorcycles. Usually a stock tire is pretty meager, but not in this case; the TW152 is chiefly a street tire, but can take the trails. On the street they are sticky and handle very nicely, and can serve you for 8-12K miles, depending upon how agressively you ride.
