  • Are you looking for aluminum vise jaws that are gentle with those precious fork legs you are working on? Then Race Tech's Vise Jaws are what you need.
  • Holds fork tubes, fork legs and other round objects in a "V" down to a diameter of ½" (12.5 mm). The "V" is offset and overhangs the edge of the standard vise jaw to provide clearance on the post. Pre-drilled for the pins supplied with Race Tech's shaft holding tools TFSH Series.
  • Made to fit 4 to 6.5" Craftsman vises with removable jaws. These vises have a bolt spacing of either 2.5 or 3 inches. Note: the jaws can be drilled to fit other makes of vises.

Great!

Comments On Jul 28, 2011:I have a large Harbor Freight vise and the extra screws provided didn't fit so i had to buy some longer screws. But once assembled, they're worth their weight in gold if you do forks often. I've done about 20 sets in the last 2 years in the Race Tech vise jaws and I've never had any forks scratched and i never use a rag in the vise. I definitely recommend them if you're ever going to do more than a couple sets of forks.

Didn't fit my vice

Comments On Nov 25, 2008:Holes wouldn't line up on my Home Depot Bench vice. I had to drill and tap some new ones in the vice. Once mounted, seems to work just fine. I've done a couple fork services in them with no complaints. Seems a little expensive for a simple tool.
