    SAFETY

Inspect and check tire pressure often. This is the most important tire-maintenance function you can perform. Refer to your machine's documentation for proper maintenance. Always give tires a gentle "run-in" period of 100 miles to get the feel of new tires--this means they should not be subjected to maximum power, abrupt lean-over, hard cornering, etc. Always match the front and rear tires for optimal handling, safety and performance. Mixing radials, or mixing radials with bias or belted-bias tires, may adversely affect handling and stability.

    WARNING

The charts and information on this page do not imply interchangeability. Consult your machine's manual to determine correct replacements, clearances, compatibility and stability, load-bearing capacity, speed rating, radial vs. non-radial, pattern and tread compound requirements, inflation recommendations and front-to-rear tire matching. Wrong selection can result in tire failure or loss of control with serious injury or death.

  • Michelin's technology delivers all-weather performance without compromising tread life or handling.
  • For trail bikes ridden primarily on the road. All-season grip and outstanding mileage for adventure bikes like the BMW GS, Triumph Tiger 800 and Suzuki V-Strom.
  • Revolutionary X Sipe Technology maximizes wet traction.
  • Patented innovation resulting from years of research and development.
  • Two Compound Technology (2CT)combines tread life and cornering grip.
  • Wider soft-compound shoulders on the front tire.
  • High performance and environmentally sound.
  • 100% non-aromatic-oil rubber compounds.

Best tire ever

Comments On Sep 09, 2013:I put a set of these on my BMW 1200 GSA. I got 4000 more miles out of them than the knobbys or tourance. These things grip great on the pavement and will stop on a dime. I go offroad and have plenty of traction. Absolutely love these tires.

On a BMW R1200GS. Outstanding

Comments On May 20, 2013:I have ran Metzler Tourance. Tourance EXP, Michelin Anakee, and now these Road 3 Trail.
On the highway, these are by far the best tyres i have ever had on this bike. I am grounding the footpegs on the tarmac regularly now, and i am not even using the tyre to it's outermost edge. On the highway they are simply superb. Wet weather use is another step up from what i have used before. Traction under acceleration, and braking inspires a great level of confidence. Off road....well they never will be as good as a knobby, but with the right choice of tyre presure they have got me to every where i want this bike to go. Early estimates are that they should give me mileage well in excess of the other tyres i had used up to now.
Don't fit any other type of tyre on your beemer.
