  • Talon Billet Rim Lock

    Talon Billet Rim Lock

    ALAN in CA

    Looks Works - but I wouldn't recommend

This is definitely the coolest looking rim lock that I've ever owned. I bought a complete rim/hub/tire combo on Craigslist and this rim lock was in it. Unfortunately - it has sharp edges on the corners and I've now suffered two flats because the edges of this rim lock wears a hole in the tub on the inside. The first time it happened I tried to glue some thick tubing on the top surface so the tube wouldn't come in contact with these sharp corners - but it didn't work and I ended up with another flat on the trail. So I had to do a trail-side repair because of this thing and I've got to throw away an otherwise perfectly fine heavy-duty tube that this rim lock punctured. (I've got a rule that you never run a tub with a patch on it). So I wouldn't recommend running this rim lock in your rim. I'll be throwing mine away.

  • Tusk Aluminum Pannier Boxes (Pair)

    Tusk Aluminum Pannier Boxes (Pair)

    Rob in Oregon

    Decent Boxes

For street bikes and stuff, these are great, just like other reviewers have said. However, if you plan to use these on an adventure bike or dual sport, be forewarned... due to their very lightweight construction, they bend very easily. My DR650 tipped over with these boxes attached and full of camping gear. The impact was enough to put a rather large dent on the inside of the right-side box where it attaches to my Happy Trail rack. I was able to straighten it using a floor jack and a block of wood, plus some pounding with a large rubber mallet. I'm no longer going to use them on that bike; they will be for my V-Strom instead. Still, if I ever go down on it, it will likely destroy the box.

  • Mylers Miracle Flush Radiator Cleaner

    Mylers Miracle Flush Radiator Cleaner

    Brian in CA

    hard to tell

Being a radiator flush, can't really tell if it got rid of deposits or not. I'll assume it did. The reason for the average rating is that it does not mention in the directions that this product will foam up and out of the radiator when it starts to react with the deposits. I would buy it again. But next time I would not make the mess by just putting it in and immediately putting the radiator cap on and let it sit.

  • All Balls Rear Wheel Bearing Upgrade Kit Replacement Bearings

All Balls Rear Wheel Bearing Upgrade Kit Replacement Bearings

    Geoff in VIC

    All balls? NO BALLS!

Bought these off some half decent reviews. What a mistake that was! lasted about 600kms, maybe less if I had checked sooner. bearings were full of mud, and started to rust, dust cover/seal just fell off when removed from hub. Would not recommend these.

MSR Pro-Raptor Clutch Lever Assembly, Shorty

    Lee in Montana

Do NOT buy this if you have a good time riding....

I bought this and had nothing but issues with it. After about 3 hours of messing around with it the thing shattered and crumbled out of nowhere in the adjustment section. Wouldn't ever recamend this to anyone. Put the old stock one back on and was riding in seconds!

  • All Balls Linkage Bearing Kit

    All Balls Linkage Bearing Kit

    cooper in Colorado

    all balls bearings are alright

I installed these in my 2004 YZ450F and I have never had such a hard time pressing bearings. I had a press tool that didn't have enough force. I used a socket, hammer, and heat. That worked but damaged the bearing. I then used a vice to push them in that also damaged them. I finally got all of the bearings in but I don't think I'm any better off than I was before due to the damage.
