    Excellent in Sand

About Rocky Mountain ATV: These guys are absolutely awesome. Have placed dozens of orders and have NEVER had a problem of any kind. My stuff typically reaches me before the predicted delivery date. I love that! KEEP IT UP GUYS!! About the Kenda Trakmaster IIs: On my second set. I ride 90% dirt and 10% street. Front lasting twice as long as the rear. Both are excellent in the sand of New Mexico. If I'm not on sand, I'm on sandstone and these tires hook up well. I run the rear at 15psi and the front at 10 and this seems to be the ticket. Stiff and tough sidewalls have resisted pinch flats well. I think this is a better choice than the Dunlop D606, particularly in regard to the front tire if you are serious about desert off road. On the road they are predictable in corners and a bit loud like any real knobby. My only complaint is that they wear noticably after a 100 mile trip on the street. Running them at the Honda spec pressure helps but I have avoided running on the street more than absolutely necessary as a result of this. Not sure there is a better option though. Will buy again.

Good tire for desert style dual sport

I bought this tire when I lived in the Mojave. When I first purchased the tire, it felt very slick in the dirt. As it wore in, it had plenty of grip to get me moving, but enough slip to allow some great power slides. Mileage wise, I probably have about 3000 miles on it, and it should be replaced soon. Usage was mixed road and dirt for about 2000 miles, and lately just road. Definitely more of a 50/50 tire.
