Holds up in New Englands Rock and Rooted trails

This tire holds up under New England Rock and Rooted trails. I'm not good at avoiding nasty rocks or roots. My 2008 WR450 just drags me up and over anything I point it at putting extra pressure on these tires and tubes. I haven't had a pinch flat yet - and that says a lot !! These tires hold up well -the only down side - they like to climb ruts.

    Good Tire

The tire hooks up well, but after a while it starts to chunk off. It does however take a long time to get to that point.

    Great rear tire

Have 6 rides on this x30 rear, and it's really good. Doesn't show too much wear after 6 rides, wears better than mx51 or at81. Gets good grip on all kinds of surfaces, but it prefers stuff that isn't really deep and loose. Took it in the dunes and it still did very well for a knobby. This tire is a very good choice for varied conditions. The best part about this tire is the way it slides. It's very predictable and controllable, and really gives a lot of confidence when the bike is leaned over. So far my favorite tire, haven't test the mx31 or mx52 rear yet though.
