    Boots last for ever

I bought my first pair of Tech 8 boots in 2001. They are excellent boots and are comfortable Wright out of the box. don't listen to the guys that say they are to expensive or over rated. These boots are about as good as you can get for the money. I just bought my second pair but I have had my first pair for 13 yrs. I ride on an average of twice a month. I ride all kinds of terrain and I wouldn't have any thing else.

    Decent for Price.

These were the cheapest full-size boot RM offered. Bought them for a Newbie friend who was on a budget. He really seems to like them, although the toe-guard tore off after only a few rides. You get what you pay for and they have been well worth the price for a full-coverage intro-level boot.

    Start up/Beginner boot

These were my first boots to help reduce start up costs. They are durable, the sole has lasted well and the buckles have never came undone or broken after a year riding. I now use a boot offering more stability and protection as my riding has progressed. I still use these boots for light trail riding and they do a good job.

  • Gaerne SG-10 Boots

    Gaerne SG-10 Boots

Best Boot for Fit, Comfort, Protection, Duration

Over the course of my time riding dirt, I have owned quite a few boots. I first purchased a pair of SG10s over 3 years ago. I live in Socal CA, SD and am able to ride frequently. I just bought my 2nd pair of SG10s because I didn't do a great job taking care of the old boots. The 3 yr old soles from foot pegs wear still have life on them, but all the rocks have taken a tool. These boots also require almost no break in period. They are extremely comfortable right off the bat. Sidis are more expensive and fall part more quickly according to my personal experience and experience of close friends. My money buys the SG10s, although I did consider the SG12. I thought I would go with want worked for me the past 3 years.
