Motocross Helmets

Motocross helmets provide the ultimate in off-road racing headgear. Designed for the rigors of motocross, these helmets appeal to everyone from professional racers to casual trail riders. Why? Quite simply, there’s no such thing as too much protection when it comes to your head – especially when you’re riding an off-road powerhouse.

So what really separates a high-end motocross helmet from the rest? Traditional helmet testing is held to strict standards, but it is wholly inadequate when considering the accidents that are faced in actual environments. While most helmets provide sufficient protection from direct impacts, most accidents actually involve an angular impact, resulting in rotational energy being transferred directly to the brain, leading to head trauma. High-end motocross helmets consider this in their engineering, helping to reduce to energy transfer to the brain by absorbing it using proven technology. Furthermore, when a helmet must be removed by emergency personnel after an accident, motocross helmets often have removable cheek pads to ease removal and reduce the likelihood of further injury.

But there is more to motocross helmets than listing off safety features or DOT/Snell certifications. The tightknit feeling that the MX community has established has created a unique flair and culture not duplicated anywhere else. As a result, these helmets display a visual appearance that blends the raw energy and refined focus characteristic of the sport.

Of course, everyone has their own style, and that’s why you’ll find literally hundreds of options to choose from. When it comes to motocross helmets, you’ve got to discover something that fits your personal expression as well as it fits your head. Will you find one here that fulfills both requirements? Yes, you will.

You can’t neglect the increased comfort built in motocross helmets. Demanded by the sport’s finest, these helmets are designed to improve airflow, keeping the helmet interior as cool as possible during long days at the track and through several motos. Today’s helmets are also often equipped with anti-bacterial lining to provide an odorless interior and comfortable fit.

Every helmet is designed with advanced features to enhance the MX experience. Read the product description to find out exactly what is included to make sure you get the attributes you’re looking for.

The next time you hop on your dirt bike at the track, make sure you’re sporting a new motocross helmet. There’s nothing better to feel great, boost your confidence and intimidate your competition than by looking like you mean business – because you do. Check out our incredible selection now and pick out the helmet that matches who you are as a rider.

    Fits great looks great

I haven't crashed hard except in sand so i can't say it saved my life or anything, but the fit is great and it looks sweet. very comfortable. I mainly ride sand so when i wear it i have it on all day and it never bothers me. Very affordable too, i like mine as much as my friends like their more expensive helmets.

    Not bad

Usually wear fly helmet but I decided to give fox a try. Let me state that I have a pretty large head and I actually think its oddly shaped, finding a comfortable helmet is kind of tough. Pros: -looks awesome -not a super bulk helmet -light -price tag -air flow feels nice -good vision. cons: -I give the comfort a 3.5/5. I have bought helmets around the same price that have had far superior padding and comfort inside -the top padding seems a little small, when I wear it, it seems like the padding rides up and my forehead hits the solid part and there is no padding there. Although It may be just my odd shaped head. -I usually wear a large and I ordered a large. I feel like i could maybe wear an xl but it may be too large and I would sacrifice protection.. Yet I feel like the large may be too small.. I feel like I am in a weird gray helmet zone. It may just be the fitting of the helmet though. Have not crashed on it yet so I can't really comment on its protection, but its snell rated and for 110 its a pretty good deal if you can't afford something more pricier.

    Nice helmet

Looks good, fits great. Not too tight not too loose, breathes well. Not a lot of head buffeting at higher speeds otr in extremely windy conditions. It looks are pretty neutral and can go with whatever else I choose to wear.
