WOW! I didn't know that I 'needed' these...

I tried these on a whim (and a gift card!) they actually make my boots fit better!(yes they take up more room than a sock alone) on my first outing I hit many deep mud puddles and creek crossings and my feet stayed dry AND cool! five stars!

    Good socks

Socks are definitely warm in the cold weather. I ride with calf height boots and these socks provide plenty of warmth. Only issue I have seen with these socks are the threads on the sock itself tend to come apart. Not sure if anyone else has seen this. But otherwise they definitely do the job that they were intended.

    Keeps feet dry

Comes up to the knee, the threads look like they are left unstitched, but does the job well of keeping the feet sweat free even in 50 degree celcius heat.

    sizing is out of whack

Purchased a pair for those many cold days we must endure up here in Canada. The first thing I really noticed is the sizing. I used the size chart and going by my normal shoe size orderd a medium. I really should have ordered the large. Although they do fit, it is a tight fit, and tight fit on socks leads to poor circulation and....cold feet. The material is very thin, so I would really like to wear a thin sock under the heated one, but no way with the size I bought. I will wear another loose fitting sock over top of them. They seem to be well made, and the fitment on the foot is quite good, as it is not a tube sock. I plugged mine in directly to the bottom of my Tourmaster Synergy heated pant liner, but wish I had ordered the seperate wiring harness for the times I dont use the pant liner (will be ordering). The nice thing is, they really do a nice job of heating, and there are no annoying wires to walk on within the sock. Would I order another pair?...yes, but keeping in mind to get a size larger than indicated.
