Comes with a very nice mounting hardware/kit. Velcro base plate and then the straps to hold the bag. Absolutely perfect mounting solution. There is a video of this bag on YOUTUBE also if you want to see how it works. I have it loaded with my tool roll bag, extra plug, and some other smaller items./ Not quite big enough for tire irons etc. No worries at all that it will come off. I would have to loose my rear fender to lose the bag! I am very likely going to purchase another to mount on my front fender just for a tube. It is that good! Good job guys!!Read All Reviews

The last one got a hole in it, the tab on the zipper broke off, then the zipper snagged up and wouldn't close, or open. It did last two seasons before all that. This one seems to be made of a thinner vinyl rather than the cloth like nylon of the last one. Seems to be, as I tossed the old one before I got the new one to compare. I would gladly pay a couple dollars more for one made of a more durable nylon and a better zipper.Read All Reviews

I assumed that this was a tool pack that had a separate mounting plate that attached to the fender. I'm returning it since I found out the entire tool pack hard mounts to the fender and can't be removed. The pack is ill-sized to fit on the fender, way too big to fit on the back of my ktm 250xcw. So you want to use the tools and unfold this big tool pack, the flaps would hang down over edges of the rear fender and it seems like the tools would spill out on the ground. I'm going to pay a little more and get the Wolfman enduro tool bag that is removable. Like the previous poster said, the underside is NOT rubberized as they advertise. The mounting hardware was also missing.Read All Reviews

Bought this to use on my 2006 Honda CRF 250x. There are several other brands making a "number plate" bag and I looked at them all before deciding to give the Moose one a try. The main reason I went with the Moose, is it has buckles that can quickly release the bag, the other brands many people complained that once they were on, they were a pain to remove. I wash my bike after every ride, so I wanted something I can easily remove and the Moose was the only one with complete quick buckles. Now once it arrived I felt the quality was good, nice construction, good material (not the best nylon but still quite good), good zippers, nice pockets and some padding in the front. The problem however came when I tried to mount it to my 250x. The 250x has a front light/number plate that sticks out a lot further than a typical mx number plate. This means the bag has to sit further away. Wanting to mount it above my head light was a challenge. The straps on the Moose bag just needed to be a few more inches and it would be good. Mostly the issue is with the bottom straps not being long enough. Granted I bought the last years model and I see they have put out a new model, so maybe it has longer straps. I ended up finding a way to mount it using the "number plate pocket" on the back of the bag, stretched over the top of my headlight plastic, and with the straps at the longest setting i was able to get it on. Its quite tight and stable and will do the job of holding small stuff. I considered returning it but the price was cheap so I kept it and will use it. I wanted to add to my review as I was able to use this Moose bag for 1 week of riding in Moab. The bag held up very very well. It was great to have quick access (camera, sun screen, maps) right on the bike. I took way more photos then I have in the past having the quick access number plate bag. The bag stayed in place over very long days and never bounced around. I still will say I wish they had longer straps as it barely fit on my 250x with headlight, for this I drop 1 star. Once in place it was great however. I do wonder if their 2014 model has longer straps? All in all , well worth buying, glad I have this bag now.Read All Reviews
