    works great

i installed this into my trailer so that I wouldn't have to look for tie downs that my friends "borrowed". it installed easily and I would give it 5 stars but if you own a two stroke it won't fit between the uprights the pipe gets in the way but they will fit if you put them in rear wheel first

This thing is a life saver, makes loading bikes abreeze. Easy install, fit and finish is great! Still looks good after 2 years of use. I get compliments on it all the time. Saves your bed from bowing out and looking like crap. Highly recommend! Cool it comes in white aswell!

Very Difficult Install on 2011 Ford F150 SuperCrew

Overall, good quality and works as intended with optional 3rd bike setback bracket. However, there were no photos of rack installed in a truck anywhere that I could find so when I measured, I wasn't exactly sure where I needed to measure and ended up purchasing the 63" model which ended up being about 1/2" too long to fit in the Ford bed. I trimmed 1/4" off both ends at a machine shop. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Measure width about 1-1/2" below the top of the bed. That is about how far down I drilled the holes. The Ford measures about 62-7/8" at that spot. Given we haul a KX 85, it probably would have been better to have mounted the rack a little lower but this would have meant the fender washers would have to be bent to fit the contour of the bed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Whether you have a Ford or something else, look at the space you've got to work with between cab and bed and plan how you're going to do the install before getting the rack. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The installation headache is due to the contoured design of the Ford cab and bed with very little clearance. No swiveling socket or offset wrenches I had could hold the nut in place. My solution was to tape the fender washers in place by feel, jamming my fingers into the tight space. I used very tacky RV roof repair tape to stick the nut to my finger and then threaded the nut onto the bolt by feel. I then managed to slide a thin box end wrench into the space and work it over to the nut by feel to hold the nut while tightening the bolts. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I give only 3 stars because I couldn't find a way to contact the manufacturer for installation advice nor could I locate a web site with any photos of anything other than the rack itself. There were no detailed instructions/photos included. The instructions were just a diagram of the obvious - you bolt the rack onto the bed using supplied bolts, nuts and fender washer. No guidance was provided about how far down from the top of the bed is the optimal install location.
