    Not quite long enough.

It has to almost touch my hand to fit on my bikes. Seems ok quality. It'd get a 3 star rating but its really nice for digging bugs or dirt out of your eye.

    Lesser of 3 Evils

All the reviews that say that they are all garbage and vibrate uncontrollably are pretty accurate. If you are comparing this to the style of mirror that threads in to your perches you will not be happy, but if you ride primarily dirt this style of mirror is definitely the way to go. They are cheap and essentially disposable, and if you go down you don't have to worry about your mirror taking out your clutch or brake perch and ruining your ride. RM carries three brands of "dual sport mirrors," I have used all three, this one is noticeably better than the other two. It sticks out at a better angle allowing me to almost see around my body, and vibrates slightly less than the other two.

That's all they are for. If you want to see behind you turn your head.

    nothing special

Mirror installation was easy enough. The mirror was not usable while riding as I could not see anything behind me with it, which is what I expected. The mirror vibrated quite a bit...at first I thought I had a problem with my cam chain tensioner until I realized it was the mirror. I brought the mirror portion off in a fall during a long trip. I didn't notice at first so I don't recall how gnarly the crash was. I think I'll replace it with something of higher quality.

    Best dual-sport mirror by far

I have tried many of the folding dual-sport mirrors over the years. This is by far my favorite. The Ram Mount 1" rubber ball reduces mirror vibration and gives you unlimited range of adjustment. It also makes it very easy to fold the mirror out of the way while on the trail. You can buy different length Ram Mount arms to suit your needs. You do need to buy the arm and the 1" ball separately.

    Works good.

I like to buy the opposite side and mount it upside-down so I can see better. The mirror is kind of small, and looking at your own arm doesn't help. Under the bars makes the view un-obstructed!
