When this arrived in the mail, I shook my head at first. But after I went to work on the first tire, this lightweight bead breaker got the job done. It helped to spray down the bead with WD-40, it seemed to help the bead break and it went smoothly after that.

Tire bead breaker.
A little too labor intensive for practical use. Better design would have been to provide a hex surface on either end of the threaded stud to use a socket on instead of having to use the wrench. For the home mechanic that does not change tires every week, it works as advertised. If you change tires more often you might want to look for something quicker.
