  Sizes run small!

  Got to demo these boots at a KTM demo day. First the sizing is off, I wear size 11 Tech 8's and wore the size 12 when I demo'd them and they felt on the small side...almost could have worn the 13. So be sure to order these one size larger than normal. The Fox rep told me they run small. I wore these for about an hour of moto and the fit and comfort right out of the box was amazing. I think they are more comfortable than my 5+ year old Tech 8's. I can't speak for their protection or longevity, since I don't own a pair yet. But when I buy new boots next season I'm pretty I'll buy these. The only thing that makes me hesitate is my Tech 8's have been unbelievably durable over the years and I hope these Fox Instincts are as durable.

  Not for cross-country ATV riding IMO

  I have been riding for a lot of years. I had always had the low end boots. I was planning to get a high end set but I saw these and thought I would try them. Scott has a great name so I thought they would be a step in the right direction. I wish I would have stuck to my original plan or stayed with the cheaper ones. They fit pretty well. The buckles are nice and work well. But they are not resistant to the smallest amount of water. After going through puddles (not water holes) my feet were wet. I think tennis shoes would be just as resistant to water. They are very, very stiff and hard to shift with. I have used them on 3 rides and they have not broken in at all. They remind me of ski boots. I am going to try to use some wax of some sort to get them more water resistant. But if they don't break in, I will likely get rid of them. They might be ok if they break in and I know the place I am going to ride is completely dry.

  Very pleased

  I purchased these boots because I needed a new pair and didn't want to spend alot of money. When the boots arrived I opened them and was really happy with what I saw these boots are very high quality and durable I have used them about 10 times and are still flawless you can tell that they were designed for people looking for quality on a budget definitely best bang for your buck!! I would recommend these to every rider trail or track.

  I'm In loooooooooovvvvvvveeeeeee

  I upgraded from the recent newer style of foxs to these, and I love them! I have used alpinestar amd fox both. If your going to go for the higher price tag DO NOT GET TECH 10s! These are Sooo much better, I have 30+ hours on mine and haven't worn at all! That's with a novice national rider on them. For the first week or two of riding the pivots will break in and will squeak a little bit. It's ok though. You just turn heads in the pits! Haha

  Really not bad, size is true

  Pretty impressive for the price, RM service stellar, great experience. Boot size is no different from an Alpine pair, and this was not true for Thor boots that I tried and were a size too small. Well worth a try if you are looking at your first pair of boots and not willing to spend too much. We'll see how long they last

  Killer!

  These are the best fitting boots hands down. If you have a narrow heel they're better than the SG-12s. Lighter too. The outers (leather part) have taken more of a beating than I expected. The soles are bulletproof and show very little wear after over a year. All in all the best boot you can buy...you pay for it but DO get what you pay for...quality.
