  Some Good Some Bad

  I had been looking for a pair of riding boots to wear while trail riding that didn't get wet inside at the first puddle. It's almost a given that puddles are in the trail here and there. These have a decent gator so they work good. From the ankle down this is a very comfortable boot. However, the upper part has this large thick pad on the inside of the leg. No idea why. All I know is that after a half day of riding both my legs are now bruised from the pads! Even after 3 weeks of NOT wearing them, it still hurts. I think they would be fantastic perfect boots if they didn't have the pads.

  SIDI CrossFire SRS - Quality boot

  Very well built boot. I had to return mine due to being too narrow in the widest part of my foot. I had had Gaerne SG-10s which were much wider and in my opinion more comfortable. I returned these and bought the SG-12 which are very comfortable as well.

  Nice boot but for this kind of dough....I would have passed. I have only had one other kind of boot which was the cheapest boot I could find however, it was a quater of the cost. I splurged buying the tech 8s hoping for the best, but I really don't think the quality is where it should be. My biggest gripe with the boot is after two rides the "removeable" right boot starter protecter ripped off. Removeable is right. The front metal toe protection is lifted on one side. On the upside, the boot fits me pretty well (size 12). The very front of the boot over buckle 2 I believe doesn't have quite enough material to adequately cover the boot inner when fully buckled. I have a pretty skinny legs too. In summary: Pros: Light, fit pretty well, looks great, I feel fancy Cons: Right inner kickstart protector ripped off boot after 2nd ride, not quite the quality I was expecting. I would probably try a different boot upon next purchase....sadly.

  just buy them

  if you've always bought that same, dominant brand boot for years like i have and are hesitant about these boots, just buy them. you will not regret it. don't know how i rode without a pivot heel all this time. awesome quality, perfect fit from first ride, best feeling boot i've ever worn. and at this price, by far the best value anywhere on a top tier boot. just buy them.

  You get what you pay for!

  I try to write an accurate review because they can really help. If you are like me, you disregard the couple of 1 star ratings among a bunch of 4-5 star ratings. I bought boots that were the same size as regular shoes I would wear. At first, I thought I would be sending them back for the next 1/2 size larger. I put them on every night for a week and walked around on the carpet to loosen them up a bit. Every time I put them on they were better. I have ridden in them about 5-6 times and they get more comfortable every time. These boots started off comfortable and just keep getting better. The protection and flexibility of the boots are excellent. If you have any doubt about fit, try 1/2 size larger. You can't go wrong with their return policy.
