As a Desert Racer with District 37 I found this to be the most comfortable barace on the market. IMHO it has to be one of the better built. Leatt Braces limited my range to much and sat right on my coller bones...I bought the Large ABNS and I am 220 pounds and it fit perfectly but I also have a big chest so be careful when ordering!! I raced my first Hare and Hound event of the year yesterday and did not even realize it was on until I went to take it off. I will never ride without it and do not understand why EVERY rider/racer does not use one...Is $290 really worth sitting in a wheel chair the rest of your life? Better yet just talk to somebody that has broken there neck and had to go through a recovery process!!

You probably won't find Stewart or Reed wearing this setup but for a rider/racer on a budget it works great! I saw this in my latest Racer X magazine and the price tag was listed at $120, found it here for cheaper, nice. Received it the other day and I couldn't be happier. It works with all my riding gear and is great for what I need. I was not going to spend 3-4 hundred dollars on a neck brace simply put because I can't afford that. This neck brace is an effective piece of safety equipment for those riders on a budget, two thumbs up EVS.

I adjusted it. Just dont know if it medically is configured correctly. I heard my old roost deflector can break my collarbone if worn with a chest protector, so I bought a leatt chest protector. The manual is wrong, as it says the adjustments for the back brace go a certain way, but they dont, they go differently because they did the diagram wrong. I am now worried I misread something and will get injured because of it. Read online that you should be able to put your elbows out, lift your hands above your head and touch your hands without the neck protector lifting up (much). Its all tough and new. But I raced with it this weekend and didnt even notice it.

Great product. I haven't had a major crash yet...but it gives me some comfort that I have an added level of protection. The brace is very well made and I forget I am wearing it.

I tried the r4 and it made my neck hurt just trail riding. I am a fairly wide guy... the atlas fits great.... it works with my eco body armor and you don't even notice its there.
