These fit well, excellent in the boot, and have saved my knee's time after time. I ride woods and rough terrain. In a hare scramble, I hit hard, I mean very hard, cracked the upper part of knee gaurd with no injury to my knee. I will buy again.Read All Reviews

Pros: I went over the handlebars this past weekend and my legs are absolutely fine. not even a bruise. I'm glad i had them on too, i would have lost a lotta skin that day. Very comfortable, and practicaly didn't notice i had them on. Cons: the straps are a little long. They tend to dangle, but nothing a little cosmetic surgery couldn't take care of.Read All Reviews

I've had these braces for almost a year. I previously rode with Asterisk braces for 4 years but wanted to try these. I use braces because I don't have an ACL anymore in my right knee. The Alpinestars have been a let down. In the first two rides, the tiny screws that hold the top strap to the brace backed out on both braces. The threaded portion is so small it's ridiculous. I used longer threaded screws to replace them and they've held in place. I had to do some grinding and taping to make it work. They migrate down your leg unlike Asterisk braces. The little snaps that hold the knee cap/patella piece in place won't stay snapped at all. Fortunately, the snaps are to big to pull through so the knee cap piece doesn't fall completely out. The padding behind the knee cap is pretty thin too. I've used the brace for skiing as well as dirt biking... Asterisk fit better and stayed place MUCH better as well as stayed together. The only thing these braces have going for them is their light weight. I don't recommend these braces. Additional Comments On Sep 20, 2011:After posting this review I received a phone call from Alpinestars. They wanted to look at my knee braces and replace the FOR FREE. They have have made small changes in the current braces. It was a pleasure to deal with them as a company. The screws that fell out have been addressed and the top and bottom straps are wider. They do have a very simple adjustment for the flexion stops. I like how simple it is to adjust the range of motion. Thank you Alpinestars for have continuously updating your product and for world class customer service.Read All Reviews
