It's not as easy as pop the old one out and pop the new one in you will need some tools. this is how I installed it. To install this spark arrester on my power core 4 exhaust system I used these tools. A air cutting tool to make four relief cuts rigth up to the edge of the spark arrester backing plate on the end cap to get the old one out. A grinder to grind the old one off the spark arrester backing plate. A drill to drill three holes in the spark arrester backing plate. A rivet gun to rivet the new spark arrester to the spark arrester backing plate. It doesn't fit like the stock screen. I had to use some force to get mine to fit back in the muffler with some light taps from a hammer. When the spark arrester is installed it does do it's job.

I was really hoping this would quiet down the bark the PowerCore 4 has. But really it only effects the low rpm bog sound, Any thing past mid throttle has almost a crackle to it. Not the sound I was looking for, Quality is Defiantly FMF though. Stainless steel.

If you jump logs and rocks sometime you'll miss, land on your pipe and break you exhaust flange. This might repair it but best plan is buy one and install before the wreck.
