    Nice item....if you like red!

This item works perfectly, is reasonably priced, and seemingly adequately constructed. It'd be nice if it came in blue, gray or silver, since the red color does not go well with most Yamaha graphic schemes.

INSTRUCTIONS WERE PERFECT AND FIT LIKE A GLOVE

VERY PLEASED WITH THIS ITEM EVEN THOUGH THE COST WAS A BIT HIGHER THAN EXPECTED. DEFINITELY PROVES THE POINT THAT 'YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR' AND THIS ITEM HAS PAID FOR ITSELF BY FITTING THE FIRST TIME OUT. GREAT QUALITY AND THE BLUE ANODIZED FINISH IS FIRST RATE. I IMMEDIATELY BOUGHT THE REPLACEMENT BLOCK WHEN THE NEED TO REPLACE DOES COME AROUND BUT FOR NOW, WEAR ON THE RUBBING BLOCK IS MINIMAL TO NON-EXISTENT.

  • Acerbis Chain Guide and Slider Kit

Acerbis Chain Guide and Slider Kit

    BRIAN in CA

    Disappointed

I generally find Acerbis products to be good, but this one disappointed me. The bolt sleeve on the lower slider was too small so I had to reuse the sleeve from the OEM slider. The chain guide didnâ??t line up centered with the sprocket, barely touching the inside face. After machining and shimming, getting the guide properly centered, it still made a lot of noise (due to the harder plastic) to the point it sounded like something was wrong with the drive. I ended up reusing my old chain guide for now, and will stick with an OEM guide next time.
