Replacement for stock 400ex tires
Went with the 21" Holeshots & Douglas .190 rims to replace the factory front tires & rims on my '01 400ex. Much more feedback and drastically better handling. This was before the new XCR fronts came out and in thicker mud, they did pack up and push a bit, but overall...Holeshots are hard to beat!!

Excellent for the types of terrain I ride.
These are way better than than the front tires that came on my quad. Excellent traction in sand, hard dirt, street, loose dirt, and light mud. Perfect for any type of terrain I find in California have not ridden in snow so I don't know how they perform in that type of condition.

The tire is not wide enough for it to sit on the rim properly. Fist weekend i raced with them and crashed the tire came off the rim and the bead was packed with mud. They handle fine but i would not buy them again.

awsome in snow
ive had these tires for 5 yrs and have 7000 miles on them and the rear tire tread is still over 50%. i mounted them on a cat 700 that i use for farm work, pushing snow and the odd mud bog. around the farm they pull hard, pushing snow i don't think you'd find a better tire and and in the mud they keep you movin. as for trail use i thought they were alright to steer w/ no power steering and i never noticed any steering wobble when cruising down the trails at about 30-40mph. all around a good tire. 27in tires

seems to be a good tire...
I'm not sure why some people were complaining... Tread is probably the deepest I've seen on a sport tire pretty hard rubber though outta hold up well the one tire was squashed from shipping but that is normal and pretty easy fix just take it to the tire shop and they can use their air tank on it and they will get it first try every time I would recommend this tire to a friend.
