On bigger karts
Bought these to get traction on the dunes for a 1000lb go-kart and they helped alot but needed much more HP to make them work. Mostly just dug holes. Put the same ones on a quad and look out! they just flew. Great tires for quad's but not enough for larger under Hp'd units. I always buy my Tires from Rockmountain cause they have the best selections and pricing, and very fast shipping.

Great Sand Tires
I purchased these tires because I wanted an 8" wide front sand tire to help with the soft stuff. I put them on my 700XX to match with AMS paddles in the back. I've taken them to the Imperial Sand Dunes on two multi-day trips now. I really like them, they turn great and float really well. Most especially they help with the steep hill climbs because they glide so well. These tires with 10X5 3+2 wheels make my front-end wider than stock which also helps with stability. No regrets.

Tires are too BIG
They sure do look good, but I bought these as a set brand new, front steering tires and rear paddles with the STI spun aluminum wheels. For the SMALL dunes they are pretty good, but when coming down a dune or hill and to start back up, the front tires rub the fenders pretty bad. And when you need to go up a hill, plan on it taking awhile or a less of an angle route to make it back to the group, as you will loose horsepower because these are ALOT of tire and wheel for the SXS's to push up the hill. Just my honest opinion as I traded mine back in. Go for the smaller tires so you have the horses to make it up those hills everyone else is going up. Better yet if they made a 25.5" tall tire with a 12 or 13" wheel that would be ideal !! One good thing is they do have a higher stance, but you are in the sand you are not rock crawling. Good luck !!
