  Not color-fast

  Purchaced this decal because the charcoal color around the edge was almost a perfect match to the color of the top of my tank. Within 6 months it had faded to a blue color that really looked sick. Every color on the decal had shifted to a blue hue and the depth of the graphic had been lost. Original graphic is beautiful, and I don't know if clearcoat would have saved that tone, but it would have made removal almost impossible. As it was, with a nice warm day, and a little sunshine, removal was smooth and painless.

  Looks great, but.....

  Based on how the decal looks, I would have rated it a 5, but (and there is almost always a but) it was rather difficult to attach to a curved surface. This is why I rated it a 4. After working on the decal for over a half hour, I did finally manage to get most of it to lay flat. Aside from that it was not easy to remove the air bubles our from under it. Over all, if I wanted to place it on a flat surface I feel it would of worked perfectly. This is not saying that the decal is bad or anything of the sorts, its pretty thick material and does not seem to attach well to curved surfaces.
