I bought this crank probably like most people...cost. I have learned a lot about this 2 stroke. Very easy to work on and I love it. However, I have also learned, when dealing with certain parts, OEM is superior. I replaced the stock crank as a part of preventative maintenance. About 50 hours on the crank, I lost a lower rod bearing. I ended up rebuilding the rod and kept the crank. OEM would have been better and probably no problem. It is still running strong. I have learned to split the cases on youtube and everything is running great. RM sells the tools you need and it is not rocket science. A good product all in all. My kid rides hard and maintenance is just the name of the game. So far so good. I did lose a lower rod bearing on the crank I bought. 50 hours into it. Bearings fit good. Freeze before you put in and makes it easier, unless you have a press tool.
