  I come off Alpinestars Tech 8s and was hesitant about getting these, I have 30 hours riding time and the soles are perfect still and they are super comfortable and really built well, Have recommended them to all my mates !

  Great Boots

  I didn't want the extra bulk of inner boot or spend the extra money for the Tech 10's, The Tech 7's are excellent boots a nice balance of stiffness and sensitivity for braking and shifting. The boots do have a break in period.

  Tech 8 is just OKAY

  They are quite expensive, as all Alpinestars boots. Well now, all boots are but these are especially expensive for what you get. I ride weekly, I put a lot of use in my boots. The Tech 8's don't take very long to break in, and that's the only good thing I have to say. The bootie doesn't fit everyone's foot, and personally, it's uncomfortable. I crashed about half a year ago, and when I went down, 2 of my buckles were torn off. It wasn't that bad of a crash, I wasn't injured, the bike was untouched. I was pretty mad about that. They are DECENT boots for a beginner.

  You will not regret purchasing this boot. It is BY FAR the most comfortable thing I have EVER put on my foot. When you put the boots on, they don't feel stiff, and they feel extremely light. I had Tech 8 Light boots before these, and the SG-12 feels much lighter, and more comfortable. The memory foam in the boot molds to your foot, so eventually they fit perfectly. These boots weigh nothing compared to the clunky Tech-10s, and are just as protective. If you buy these, you won't be sorry. Best quality boot I have ever bought in my career.
