  This is a great mask. The upper portion is a thin lycra moisture-wicking material, perfect for under the helmet. It is not obtrusive at all. The lower portion is a soft fleece. It isn't noted here but it is a dual-layered bottom portion, extra thick fleece, for that extra warmth. Even when not wearing a helmet it still is very good at keeping warmth in. I wore this under my helmet on a trail ride I went on the 2nd of January (sub 20 degrees where I was) and I guarantee I wouldn't have been able to last without it.

  for the money it was good

  did what it said it would do, great wind protection and cold protection. Only complaint is that its a little short and doesn't quite cover from the nose to down the neck. needs another inch or two, but it works.
