Use a good RTV silicone to glue them on!
The double sided tape that they come with will not last. I used "The Right Stuff" to glue them on and I have had no problems. Nice lights, low profile.

Works but tough to seal
I did eventually get it to work but the aluminum (?) crush washers that came with it were very stiff. I'm used to copper crush washers and it seemed like I needed an excessive amount of torque to get it to seal but I finally got it to stop leaking. 600 miles later it is still dry and I have brake lights on my KTM.

I have bought 3 of these. The first one got wet and shorted when I rode in the rain. The next one I took the red lens off and put a bead of silicone around where it contacts the main assembly. That was over 5 years ago and no problems in every weather possible. I did the same to the last one I bought for my wife's bike 3 problem free years ago. Nice and bright. No license plate light but I believe it states that in the description. If the lens came with a seal it would earn a 5 star rating.

can't break them...
i have been using these lights for almost two years and have had no issues! they have stood up to the tightest single track and some pretty hard crashes. I have actually bent my subframe and the lights are still there. these are the last set you will have to buy.
