I was very happy with the fast delivery of my order. I was unhappy with knowing that the battery did not come with battery acid installed or shipped with the battery. I had to go to the NAPA store and pay $7.50 extra for the acid container. I also had to get a plastic tube to empty the acid bottle. This should have been noted on the description of the product.

YUASA No Maintenance Battery with Acid

One battery lasted 7 years
I bought my VTX 1800 in 2003. I have never put my battery on a charger or taken it out of the bike. Every year I just put the key in and it has always started. It's finally getting weak so I'm buying another one, I'll talk to you again in another seven years.

Shorai Lithium-Iron Battery

Cures finicky starting
After trying both a Walmart battery and then an OEM battery that both failed, I tried the Lithium-Iron battery in my Yamaha WR450F - an always finicky starter. When I got it, I thought "way too light to work" - wrong! Last week I did four days of putting up and taking down arrows for an enduro. This meant riding up to a tree, killing the engine, tacking the arrow, and re-starting while in gear. I must have done this about 500+ times with very little constant running to re-charge the battery. The Shorai got the big 4-stroke running instantly every time, which makes it well worth the extra money it costs. At the end of all this, the battery is fully charged - outstanding!!! Time will tell if storing the bike ruins this battery.

LET'S FACE IT WHEN YOU SPEND ALMOST TWO HUNDRED BUCKS FOR A LITTLE BATTERY YOU EXPECT IT TO LIVE UP TO THE HYPE, WELL THIS BATTERY DOES. NICE CLEAN DESIGN AND IT PACKS A PUNCH. NOW MY BIKE STARTS IN GEAR.

Yuasa really is the best battery
This battery is 3 years old. At the end of year 2 the ATV broke and was not repaired. This Yumicron type Yuasa YB12L-A1 sat outside for 11 months neglected. Voltage was 9.8 V and acid levels were OK. An 8 hour slow charge brought up voltage but no power. I was able to recover the battery to 80% of rated power in 4 days with 6 fast/ slow charge cycles and a 48 hour de-sulfation. I'm impressed !!

Good little battery, super lite
Great battery, starts bike every time. A little weak vs the 8 cell but gets the job done, a must have if your using the stock original battery.
